Direction

Don’t meander through life; understand your true inner desires and align your decision making with those desires. Most major problems in life are the result of continual choice making that contradicts your core beliefs. All humans need intimacy, meaning, connection to purpose and direction.  If you don’t have them in your life, you’re likely substituting money, power, recognition or some form of distraction to fill this void.

Many people identify their wants in terms of things or status, but they only want things because of the way they think those things will make them feel.  The end result of all of our ambitions is to achieve a consistent emotional state.  We all want to feel a certain way and we hope that our wants will get us there, but many times our perceived wants take us in the wrong direction.

Questioning develops clarity.  Always ask: Am I making choices that fulfill my purpose?  Does this choice empower me?  Will this choice bring long-term fulfillment? Once you become clear on what you want and why you want it, you will make decisions in- line with your priorities with your life goals.
