Affirm at the edge of realism. Don't affirm the mundane and don't affirm the unrealistic, make it at the outer edge of your capabilities.   What you expect, you tend to get (as long as it's not absurd).

 

Find your Fulcrum. What is the one important thing to change about this part of your life?

 

Emotionalize it to full effect. Your brain stores emotionalized messages more quickly than logic.

 

Personalize it, make it all about you. "I am.... "

 

Make in present tense, not past tense. "I am in control of my finances."

 

Be, simple repetitive and visualize. Repetition and visualization help you seat thoughts in implicit memory for easier recall when you need them.

 

Finish with a leading question... a question that pre-supposes future success.
Your mind is more concerned with your potential than your past.  Hmmm... interesting thought on thoughts.
